Bavette is similar to the flank steak but a unique butcher's cut. Sometimes called a flap steak, it's an extremely flavorful flat cut of steak that is incredibly tender and delicious. It's a lean cut from the bottom sirloin near the flank steak. With a relatively short cooking time, it's a perfect weeknight meal and will make some memorial fajitas. It works extremely well for soaking in your favorite marinades like the flank. The final product? One juicy and mouth-watering steak.
